1. Events
Employees of our corporate partners enjoy the thrill of bespoke challenge events; from climbing mountains to swimming seas. If your team’s game then we have a challenge for them.
Each year we also hold RMHC events and companies are welcome to participate.
2. Fundraising
From planning and holding a street collection in aid of Ronald McDonald House Charities Ireland, to organising a company-wide bake sale, the team-building benefits of staff fundraising are clear for all to see; but they become an altogether mightier tool when team members bond over the good they are doing for families in need in Ireland.
3. Cooking for Families Program3
You don’t need to be a world-class chef to provide a tasty, home-cooked meal. As a “Cooking for Families” volunteer, your group plans your menu, shops for menu items, and prepare meals in the House kitchen for our Families. Cooking4Families is a huge help and relief to our families.
4. Wish List
Our House is always in need of new and additional equipment; from new toys to toasters, it all helps to make families feel at home. If you think your business is able to donate gifts-in-kind then please contact [email protected].
From toothpaste to deodorant, from cleaning products to pillowcases, there are a lot of things we need to keep the house looking spic and span for the families who stay with us.
We have a variety of products at different prices, to suit all budgets of donations. For as little as €5 you could buy products that can be posted straight to us for the benefit of the families who stay here.
How about buying a meal voucher from a take away so our families can eat in, or a monetary donation gift which can be sent directly to us through our website to help with the running of our House? It’s easy to do!
5. Grab & Go Packs
As you can imagine mornings in our House can be particularly tough for the families of little ones receiving care in the hospital.
Many of our parents are up at dawn to be by their child’s side and often miss breakfast.
To support them, we’ve launched our new Grab & Go initiative, providing nutritious snacks and breakfast items for parents on the move. For more information on this initiative please contact [email protected]
