Welcome to The Ronald McDonald House Charities, Ireland website.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities, Ireland promotes the health, development and well being of children and their families. We accomplish this through our Ronald McDonald Houses. Our two houses provide a caring and supportive environment for families of seriously ill children who are hospitalised or undergoing treatment at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin, Dublin 12.

We cannot provide this service without support. Our annual running costs are in the region of €300,000. This money is raised each year through our many fundraising events. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our very generous supporters. Your generosity makes an enormous difference to so many families.

I would also like to thank the staff and volunteers at our two houses. Their hard work and dedication is invaluable to the parents and families who stay with us.

Since we opened in November 2004 we have provided this service for in excess of 1300 families from all over Ireland. One of our Cork Families wrote the following: ‘We don’t have words to describe how much of a comfort the Ronald McDonald House was. I don’t know how we would have coped without this amazing facility. Thanks to the staff for your smiles and for doing what you do’
